The inaugural Gender Equity Awards launched on 15 November 2022, bigger and better than anticipated! A year in the planning, the Awards were launched to create a groundswell of positive information and conversations about gender equity and bring to the forefront great initiatives organisations and individuals have begun.

80 entries | 30 finalists | 20 judges | 8 winners | 4 winning organisations | 4 winning individuals.

Twenty judges; 10 female and 10 male, from Paul Zahra – CEO Australian Retailers Association, to Gillian Blake – MD Accenture, to Patrick Walker – CEO Australian Sports Foundation, were among the calibre of judges. See Judges here: Gender Equity Awards Judges.

Guests enjoyed keynotes from Mary Wooldridge, Director of Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) and Bianca Hartge-Hazelman Managing Director of Financy.

The Awards brought together many companies Australia wide creating positive gender equality for their organisations & employees, and inspiring so many other organisations, not only present at the Awards but through articles, media exposure, discussion and social media.
