Meet June O’Brien
I hail from a diverse cultural melting pot – New Guinean, Danish, Chinese and Melanesian – and like my adventurous ancestors, I like to live life to the full. In my early years I lived in Port Douglas, Townsville, Brisbane and the Whitsunday Islands plus having spent time in some of the worlds great wine regions when living in San Francisco, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. I am now proud to call Geelong home.
My passions are cooking and food culture, exploring, trying and discovering new things, travelling and socialising! I have been in the hospitality and tourism industry for over 25 years, working professionally as a travel advisor selling domestic and international experiences.
Over the years visiting friends and family have enjoyed my ‘Great Days Out and Taste tours” and have remarked that I should “do this for a living.”
2020 was a year of reflection and so here we are!
