When I arrived at the Writer’s Studio in Tanunda, I felt like I had stepped into a fairy tale. The host, LesleyAnn, greeted me with a smile and a freshly baked loaf of bread, filling the air with a delicious aroma. She also stocked the fridge with everything I needed for a hearty breakfast, including eggs, bacon, cheese, jam, and juice. I was impressed by her hospitality and generosity.
The studio itself was a delight to explore. It was spacious and comfortable, with a queen-sized bed, a sofa, a dining table, and a kitchenette. The walls were adorned with paintings, photos, and posters, creating a colorful and artistic atmosphere. The studio also had a library of books, videos, games, and jigsaw puzzles, offering plenty of entertainment options. I felt like I had everything I needed to relax and unwind.
One of the best things about the Writer’s Studio was its location. It was situated in a quiet and leafy street, just a few minutes’ walk from the town center. Tanunda is a charming town with a rich history and culture, and a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. I enjoyed strolling along the main street, browsing the local boutiques, and sampling the regional cuisine. Tanunda is also a great base to explore the Barossa Valley, one of Australia’s most famous wine regions.
I had a wonderful time staying at the Writer’s Studio. It was a hidden gem that I was lucky to discover, thanks to my connections in the Digital Innovation Summit. LesleyAnn was a gracious and friendly host, who made me feel at home. The studio was a cozy and charming retreat, where I could relax and enjoy myself. Tanunda was a lovely town, with a lot to offer. I highly recommend the Writer’s Studio to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Barossa.
