Rachel Ostler Finds New Ideas

Tamworth’s Chiropractor

Rachel Ostler is a local chiropractor in the regional town of Tamworth NSW, establishing her business Family Care Chiropractic at the beginning of 2019. As a NAB customer, Rachel was invited to  partake in the Business in Heels Business Accelerator Program in 2022.

Rachel initially thought the course would only focus on the financial aspect of running a business but was delighted to discover it also covered a diverse range of business challenges and topics.

She learnt the benefit of collaborating to grow as an alternative to selling to potential clients. Armed with her target market she quickly found local collaborators with a common client base and was thrilled when this led to referrals.

One of her “ah-ha moments” came when Rachel was working through the topic of efficiency, realising that to run her business efficiently she would need to outsource. As a small business owner, she realised she had fallen into the trap of trying to do everything herself without considering the opportunity cost involved. She took action to outsource and now Rachel spends more time treating people, the job she loves and with her family.

“Thanks to Business in Heels and NAB, I now feel more confident in running my business and taking it to the next level”
